Book your ferry time for travel when you book your ticket.

Scheduled services are from Wharf 8/9, King St Wharf, Darling Harbour from the following times:

10.00am – 11.00am
11.00am – 12.00am
12.00am – 1.00pm

Please arrive at the designated ferry terminal by the nominated departure time for arrival on Cockatoo Island within forty five minutes.

Our advice - ARRIVE EARLY.

If you miss your ferry you will be accommodated on another ferry however arrival time cannot be guaranteed.

Ferry shuttles will also operate throughout the day at half hour intervals to and from the Island. The full fleet will ramp up again from 8pm with the last departure at midnight.

Be assured that access to and from the Island will be available throughout the day.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY ONTO THE ISLAND

No BYO alcohol. Alcohol can purchased from the 15 bars across the Island. Check out the website closer to the event for food and beverage prices.
No unsealed drink containers.
No eskys or picnic baskets. Food can be purchased from a variety of outlets across the Island. Check out the website closer to the event for food and beverage prices.
No intoxicated persons will be allowed access onto the Island.

Buy a two day pass and you can camp over night on Cockatoo Island. You can arrive on Friday evening and stay until Monday morning, all for the one price.

Book your campsite when you buy a two day pass from Ticketek. Only people with 2 day passes will have access to the campsite.

There are two options:

1) Rent a site and bring your own tent (suitable for up to 4 people) $75
2) Rent a site and a tent (tent suitable for up to 3 adults or 2 adults/2kids) $120

Once you arrive on the Island report to the campground office and register yourself and your fellow campers. You will all be given camp wristbands. All campers in your group must have a two day pass.

Camping is for the Saturday and Sunday nights however you are welcome to travel to the Island by regular Sydney Ferries (check timetables)* on Friday after 5pm and stay for the 3 nights. You will have to buy regular ferry tickets if you travel on Friday and Monday.

REMEMBER: you need to buy a 2 day pass to have access to the campground. A 1 day pass will not give you camping access even if you have bought a camping pass.
